Average recommended grams of fat for a sedentary girl like me is between 44 and 62. Since I have no idea what is actually causing my gallbladder pain - though it does seem likely that it's fat given that this is what it is for most people - I am just going to run with the idea of reducing fat.
In the long run I do think that this will help me lose weight. For now I would like to just eat as little fat as possible.
I'm going to make my daily fat intake goal of 40 grams. If that doesn't work I will try to reduce that to 30 and so on. Here's hoping we will figure this out.
On another note I have tried to use apple cider vinegar as a method of relieving pain but no dice. I used 2 tablespoons in 10 oz of apple juice to no effect. I might consider trying more - I've seen it recommended up to 1/4 cup of vinegar per day. I will write it down in case I do try it. So far nothing has worked. I've tried pepto bismo and mallox. I've tried extra strength tylenol and smithecone.
